Must be understood as Ortronic® system the group of apparatuses which compose an installation for an specific application.
An off–grid system is composed by the same components described for the emergency systems, plus an electric generator set that usually needs diesel for its functioning.
1.1 Besides of the electrical generator set, in an Ortronic ® off–grid system, photovoltaic solar panels, wind generators and any other type of electric generator set, with output on AC or DC,can be used.

2 Ortronic® Off–grid systems advantages:
2.1 Equally to the emergency systems, an off–grid system is a group of devices connected between them that work under the orders of several synchronized microprocessors, which are the heart of the system.
As mentioned when talking about the Ortronic® emergency systems advantages, the Ortronic® off–grid systems have all the advantages of the Ortronic® converters and battery chargers, although all the advantages are not applicable in all the applications and not all the converters are manufactured for including all the advantages.
In fact, the unique application that can utilize all the Ortronic® converters advantages are the electrical vehicles.
2.2 The Ortronic® off–grid systems are the best possible solution for supplying electricity to those who are not connected to the electrical grid.
2.3 The electrical energy is generated by a private electric generator set, which normally consumes diesel. This is the cheapest energy when no connected to the electrical grid.

2.5 In most cases, the total cost of an Ortronic® off–grid system, including its installation, is lower than the cost of the transport of the electrical line.
