The nature of electricity is still unknown, and that is why it is defined as an EFFECT, dependent on the movement of electrons.

It is accepted that the EFFECT moves in the opposite sense to the movement of the electrons, with a speed equal to that of light (300,000 Km./second).

Nikola TeslaNIKOLA TESLA (1856 to 1943), the greatest genius of all time, is the father of alternating current electrical energy, the inventor of the induction motor, the alternator and the resonant circuit, which would later allow Marconi to build the radio.

In 1895 Tesla opened the world’s first alternating current electrical plant in the Niagara Falls.

Many of Tesla’s great discoveries, such as the wireless transmission of alternating current, are still a mystery for the scientific world today. Wireless electricity distribution was one of Tesla’s most important demonstrations, and consisted in lighting two hundred lamps at a distance of 26 miles from a transmitter coil in Colorado Springs.

After the Colorado Spring experiments, at the end of 1898, Tesla returned to New York and his friend Robert Underwood, editor of Centurymagazine, invited him to write an article on the problems of the energy of the future.

In his article for Century, he stated that burning oil to produce electricity was barbaric and utterly wrong, adding that, with his discovery of transmitting electricity through the earth’s magnetic field, it was possible to cover all electrical needs.

Tesla’s article in Century had a great impact in scientific and financial circles. One of the people who took an interest in his views was millionaire J.P. Morgan, who invited Tesla to his home for Tesla to explain in detail his system of transmitting electricity without wires.

The contacts between Tesla and J.P. Morgan led to an agreement to carry out a gigantic project named WARDENCLIFF, to be financed by Morgan in its first phase.

The place chosen to carry out the project was Suffolk County in Long Island.

In 1901, an explanatory leaflet was published in Long Island, which detailed all the project’s characteristics, which included the following activities, among others:

1.- Building the largest electrical station designed to date, with an electrical power of ten        million horsepower, that is, 7.6 billion kilowatts, which would be distributed through the air.

2.- Interconnection with all the telegraph offices worldwide.

3.- Creation of a secret governmental telegraph service which could not be interfered with.

4.- Interconnection with all telephone offices worldwide.

5.- Universal news distribution by telegraph or telephone, connected to the newspapers.

6.- Creation of a worldwide intelligence system for exclusively private use.

7.- Interconnection and operation with all the world stock exchanges, and their listings.

8.- Creation of a worldwide music distribution system.

9.- Creation of a worldwide time information system, with the highest level of precision.

10.- Transmission by facsimile of manual characters, letters and documents.

11.- Creation of a worldwide system to aid sailing that would allow boats to sail without a compass, with exact information regarding their location, time and speed. This would prevent collisions and disasters.

12.- Opening of a worldwide printing system on land and at sea.

13.- Reproduction anywhere in the world of photographs, paintings and all types of drawings and prints.

Probably the most important event in the history of man on Earth, which could have changed the path of mankind, occurred around that time, and this was J. P. Morgan’s decision to withdraw its financial aid to the WARDENCLIFF project.

Tesla en su laboratorioTesla had invested all his assets in Wardencliff and the man who invented alternating current, which has allowed mankind to develop to the extent it has today, was unable to find funding to continue the great project of his life, which could have changed the path of mankind and of the history of Science.

In a publication of 1978, by Lafferty, Harwood & Partners Ltd, in Montreal, there is a study of all the factors that lead to the inevitable conclusion that Tesla was a victim of a conspiracy of the large railway, steel and coal companies, planned and executed by J.P. Morgan.

But Tesla’s technology is still a pending matter and one of the largest frustrations for the scientific world, which, one hundred years later, can neither affirm nor deny the technology of Wardencliff.

In 1943, he was run over by a horse cart, and never recovered from the accident.

Following his death, the Pentagon confiscated all the documents it found related to Tesla’s technology.

Subsequently, the Pentagon hired Golka Associates, Brockton, Massachusetts, to carry out research on the technology of Tesla. The company was founded by Robert A. Golka, a man who had carried out in-depth research into the work of Tesla. Under the contract, a replica of the Tesla transmitter was built, at an Air Forces hangar in Wendover, in Utah.

Some of the best brains of modern times took part in the project and the results, according to their statements, were not fortunate. Tesla took the fundamental laws of his technology to the grave.

Mankind is in debt with Tesla, and in some ways, is paying for the injustice made.

Some time, somewhere, someone will recover Tesla’s technology and return him all the honours that were taken from him.

THEORETICAL MODEL


The scientific World has never understood Tesla’s electricity and has reduced it to a theoretical model that does not correspond to the reality of the physical phenomenon.

According to the theoretical model, the total power of a generator, measured in KVA, can be broken down into two powers: real power, measured in kilowatts (kW), and reactive power, measured in reactive kilovolt amperes (KVAR).

The classic power triangle, which in reality does not exist, is a faithful representation of the proportions between the three powers.

The KVAR reactive power has always been considered blind and wattless. Let us look at its history:

Since Heinrich Lenz formulated his famous Lenz Law in 1834, it is known that the receivers return to the grid part of the energy they take from the generator, with the exception of pure resistance, which in practice does not exist.

The amount of energy which a receiver feeds back into the grid and the delay time of the current with regard to the voltage depend on the quality of the receiver.

The quality of a receiver, in terms of inductance, is defined by:

If resistance R were zero, Q would be infinite and the inductive load would be ideal.
The ideal receiver would return all the energy taken, or in other words, the reactive power would be equal the total power, in which case the real power would be zero and the machines would not produce any work.

This fact represents one of the contradictions accepted by science, where the ideal model would be the only non-real model, which can only be explained by the ignorance of the true nature of electricity.

As a consequence of this, electrical motors are intentionally made of low quality in order to make the power factor as high as possible and, consequently to reduce the reactive energy to the minimum.

According to traditional knowledge, reactive energy is a burden, a toll one must pay to make current industry possible.

According to the power triangle of the theoretical model, the total or apparent power of a generator, expressed in KVA., can be broken down into two different types of power, ‘useful’ (real) power that is transformed into work and a ‘useless’ power that does not transform into work, which is why it is called blind or wattless, and is more generally referred to as reactive, both of which are defined by:

The second term in brackets of the equation is considered nil because it represents the average value of a sinusoidal magnitude in the course of a double period, and on the basis of this consideration, the equation becomes:

This formula is used in all calculations of electrical power.

For the formula to be valid it is essential for the following conditions to be met:

  • That the shapes of the voltage and current waves are sinusoidal.
  • That there are negative powers.
  • That the electrical power is vectorial.

However, the behaviour of electrical power is not predetermined by any universal law, but rather depends on the way it is generated and used, and therefore the three conditions cannot be met, based on the following considerations:

  • The sinusoidal shape of the wave is only one of many possibilities.
  • Negative power does not exist if the reactive power is recovered.
  • Electrical power is not vectorial, although it is practical to consider it as such for calculation purposes.

Negative power, which is really reactive power, can be transformed into real power, rather than sending it to the grid or reducing it with condensers.

The cos or power factor is the cosine of the angle formed between the voltage and the current.

In traditional knowledge what is sought is that the power factor is as high as possible for the following reasons:
  • The lower the power factor, the higher the reactive power.
  • Reactive power reduces the real power of the generator.
  • Reactive power reduces the performance of machines.

The power factor can be modified, given that it is defined by:

Increasing the power factor when generating inductance means impoverishing it and straying further from the ideal model.

With Ortronic® the ideal load would be that which produced the highest percentage of savings.

In order to prevent the reactive power from being transmitted to the grid, increasing current in the lines to no use, connected capacitors are used in the loads, and as is well known, the currents in a circuit formed by an inductance and a capacitor are subtracted, which prevents the reactive power from travelling through the grid to the generator.

The installation of capacitors is referred to as “correcting the power factor”, when in fact nothing is being corrected, because the reactive power is still there, with all its consequences, just as if they had not been installed.

The only effect that the capacitors have is reducing the current in the network, but the reduction of real power in the generator is not corrected, and neither is the reactive power in the load.
