Ortronic® is a new concept in the use of electrical energy that can not be understood using the knowledge previous to Ortronic®.
Ortronic® has discovered new DIMENSIONS of the electrical energy that allow us to use it in a different way, increasing the capacity to produce work.
This new concept and the new way of using it are the basis of the Ortronic® technology.
Ortronic®, compared to any other technology, saves more than 50% of the energy needed to produce the same amount of work. Theoretically could save more than 90% of the energy if the inductive devices were manufactured according to Ortronic® specifications.
TECHNICAL BASES
1. New patented procedure to generate alternate current, without filters neither transformers.
2. Increases until a 70% the three phase motors efficiency.
3. It is the only technology that recovers the reactive energy, transforming it into useful to produce work.
4. It eliminates the losses due to the intersection angles in the three phase motors.

Ortronic® is the only technology which allows to manufacture electric cars competitive compared with the traditional ones.
Many electric car manufacturers have taken the decision to manufacture hybrid cars that are, in reality, traditional cars that incorporate an electrical motor with an autonomy of about 10 minutes. Its only mission is to reduce the pollution calculated from the total power, formed by the mechanical motor, that pollutes equal, plus an electrical motor that doesn't pollute, but works only for a few time. The electrical motor only works in certain ocassions.
In the next paragraphs are exposed the more significant advances and advantages that are the Ortronic® contribution to electrical cars, which justify our sentence:
A NEW CONCEPT OF ELECTRICITY
1. New procedure for generation of alternate current.
Ortronic® has invented a new electronic procedure to generate and use the electrical energy.
The main advantages are:
1. It doesn't use filters, coils or transformers.
2. Each half cycle is divided into 1000 parts and it starts with the reactive energy coming from the load, taking from the source only the energy needed to finish the half cycle.
3. The 1000 parts of each half cycle are grouped in packages which are added sequentially.
4. When there is no reactive energy it takes the 100% from the energy source.
2. The electrical motors efficiency.
The efficiency of an electrical motor is equal to its mechanical power on its axis divided by its electrical power.
The motor in a car works at very different powers, depending on the load and on the slope of the road.
The power in the traditional cars varies from 90 to 400 HP (67 to 298 kW), the average value is equal to 182.5 kW.
In a flat road, it uses a 5% of its power, which means 9.125 kW, losing a 95%.
In roads with a slope of 10%, it uses the 75% of its power, whichmeans 136.785 kW, losing a 25%.
The energy losses due to the electrical motors, when they work at variable power, could reach up to 95%, that is the reason why the American multinational company EXXON, by the mediation of a subsidiary, invested 600 million dollars searching a technology that could avoid that losses. They didn't find it and closed the project.
Ortronic® is the only technology with the solution that EXXON looked for, besides other unique solutions of similar importance.
All the Ortronic® discoveries, applied to electric cars, represent a new paradigm for the electric vehicles.
3. Reactive energy recovery.
The reactive energy is generated in the inductive loads by auto-induction and it is returned to the generator according to the Lenz Lew.
Ortronic® is the only technology that electronically manipulates the reactive energy, un-watted and useless, which overload the loads without any utility. That is why the electrical companies penalize to whom send it to the distribution lines.
The next pictures help to understand the reactive energy recovery phenomenon.
In the first picture, the reactive energy is sent to the storage batteries bank for being used later on.
In the second picture, a part of the reactive energy is consumed in the no inductive loads, if they exist, and the other part is sent to the storage batteries bank.
Ortronic® multiplies the reactive energy working on the voltage of the motor rising slope for each half cycle.
With Ortronic® the reactive energy power increases the power of the car motor, increasing its features and saving energy at the same time.
4. Losses due to the intersection between phases.
As it is known, in the three phase motors, there is a 120º phase lag between each phase, and the half cycle is 180º.
Three 180º half cycles mean 540º, but the circumference only has 360º. Then, there is no other solution than have an intersection between phases of 60º, obtaining a total intersection of 180º, (540-180=360).
During the 180 intersection degrees, forces of opposite direction, which are mutually annulled, are acting on the motor, obtaining as a result an energy loss equivalent to a brake of that same value.
The next picture shows the phenomenon.
The energy losses due to the phase intersection represents approximately a 22%.
Ortronic® is the only technology which eliminates the phase intersection.
5. Speed and acceleration.
The acceleration is a question of power and revolutions.
As Ortronic® eliminates the losses due to the efficiency at low power, can use three phase motors with a power similar to the mechanical ones.
As Ortronic® regulates as it wants the power and the acceleration, in an independent or synchronized way, manually or automatically, can reach speed and acceleration values much higher than the traditional cars.
The Ortronic® electric cars, equipped with the Ortronic® traction system, can compete with the traditional ones.
6. Efficiency.
Efficiency comparison between an electric car, all of them uses the PWM technology, and Ortronic®.
The Ortronic® efficiency is between 95% and 97%. The PWM efficiency is between 15% and 86%.
Ortronic®, without any load connected at its output, consumes 0. The PWM converters consumes thousands of watts.
PRACTICAL DEMONSTRATION
The practical demonstration that it is going to be described was done by the Spanish state-owned company:

At a proposal of its Commercial Director, Mr.Ángel Arredondo, Doctor in Industrial Engineering, in the specialty of Electricity, assisted by Mr. Julio Bordas, Corporate Director.
The purpose of the demonstation was to certify that Ortronic® multiplies the work done with the same amount of energy.
For measuring the work done, two different technologies were used: one very well known, PWM, taken as reference, and Ortronic®; and the energy to be used was in a storage batteries bank.
The reference was a converter of the prestigious brand Merlin Gerin, with an efficiency of 88%,
The demonstration consisted in a pump water using as the only energy the one that was in the storage batteries bank and the results are shown in the next pictures.
